Millenium Falcon papercraft. Yet again another Star Wars papercraft and yet again more poorly tranlated instructions. Actually, these ones were worse than the AT-AT. Oh well it turned out not too shabby in the end.

Patterns & instructions can be downloaded here:

Awesome model, but the original page is down. Do you have a copy?

[link] This shows the boxes that make up the weapon mounts.

What paper (as in, weight) did you use for yours?

I see what you mean. What most likely happened was that the pieces ended up accidentally being put in my discarded paper pile. When I cut around a piece I chuck the unusable white paper ino my discard pile and the mount must have been on one of my discard pieces (I just didn't see it).
It's happened before with other papercrafts of mine and it'll most likely happen again.

I used regular ol' 8.5" x 11" printer paper as I do for all of my papercrafts.

I suggest you invest in slightly heavier paper. Don't know what the US equivalent is, but i used 160g/m^2 A4 printer paper. Makes models a whole lot sturdier and you won't get those crumples/waves in larger surfaces, like the saucer sections of the YT. or crumpled parts, like the escape pod hatches/vents on the back.

A very, very good tip is to only cut out what you need to cut out for a sub assembly, like the gun turret(s). Use small bins to collect cut out parts and completed sub assemblies.

Your model does look very good though!

Thank you for the critique/help. I'll keep it all in mind. I'll also try to find those missing parts and fix this right away.
